PROJECT: E-UNIT/HEALTH AND SAFETY
This Project links to unit 4 of the Level Two BTEC Diploma in health and social care. Students will carry this unit out independently either through home study or coach sessions. The principle behind this is to develop independent learning through the use of technology. The project focusses on:
- Identifying hazards in health and social care
- Describing hazards and explaining ways to minimize hazards
- Understanding and taking part in risk assessment processes
The practical element to this project will be carried out throughout project: five ways and also through trips. We shall have a trip to the fire station and hope to have a trip to hazard alley.
